So what can I do ?
We all have a responsibility to try and stop people driving dangerously or irresponsibly however it is not always easy to tell them.

- Switch it off before you start your journey.
- Give it to one of your passengers to answer
- If the driver uses their phone ask them to stop or pass it to you so they can concentrate on driving.
Drink Drive
- Don't encourage the driver to go faster
- The more people in the car the higher the risk
- Don't get in the car in the first place
- If you get a chance get out of the car

Drug Drive
- Any type of drug or medicine will have an effect on the driver
- If you know the driver is on drugs don't get in the car
- Have a designated driver who stays on soft drinks
- Book a Taxi
- Arrange to stay at someone's house
- Walk home with friends
- Phone someone for a lift
- Inform the police or crimestoppers
Distraction
